Researchers Help Paralyzed Man ‘Feel’ With Use Of Robotic Arm

For the first time, researchers have shown technology that allows a paralyzed patient to experience the sensation of touch via a neural interface connected to a robotic arm. The team developed this two-way communication system between the brain and the robotic arm using outgoing signals for movement and inbound signals for sensation, creating the sensation of touch directly in the brain.
