“If we are going to give Los Angeles students the schools they deserve, we can’t afford to pass a ballot measure which is going to cause an increase in health costs, an unnecessary drain on tax revenue and potentially divert funds from public education,” said Alex Caputo-Pearl, President of UTLA. “Prop 46 is bad medicine for California’s public schools and teachers.”
