Dr. Raymond Raven was recently nominated for and appointed to the Board of Directors for the California Orthopaedic Association (COA). Dr. Raven will be presenting on Dupuytren’s disease at the COA 2014 Annual Meeting/QME Course in Monterey, CA. He will be part of the symposium entitled, “What’s New in Hand Surgery?” and will discuss Dupuytren's contracture which is a painless thickening of tissue beneath the skin on the palm of the hand and fingers. 300 orthopaedic surgeons and 50 orthopaedic practice managers are expected to attend the COA 2014 Annual Meeting to educate themselves on the continuing changes to orthopaedic practice.
