Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a progressive bone disease that affects millions of Americans.  It is commonly found in persons over the age of 50 (more often women than men), women who are postmenopausal, and persons with thyroid conditions. Osteoporosis is also more common with people who have had after severe weight loss and can also occur after receiving chemotherapy. Because osteoporosis does not normally cause any symptoms, it often times goes undiagnosed and untreated.

Treatment plans can range from fracture care, prevention, rehabilitation, and the prescribing of medications and supplements that will not only halt the progression of bone loss, but in some cases reverse the bone denigration.
